If I Become An Alien?

is a multidisciplinary art project exploring identity and self- perception across three platforms: a public art trail, a physical exhibition at Pause/FrameGallery, and an interactive virtual space.
Featuring 26 works by 13 international artists, the exhibition spans photography, painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, and text.
The journey begins at South Wimbledon Tube Station with an art trail that weaves through local streets—transforming the everyday into a reflective experience on how place shapes identity. These familiar environments become stages for micro-performances of the self, revealing the shifting personas we adopt in daily life and how we come to understand ourselves in relation to others.

At Pause/Frame, the exhibition deepens this investigation into the self, unpacking the layers beneath public personas and examining how memory, culture, routine, and emotion influence our evolving sense of identity.
The accompanying virtual exhibition invites global audiences to consider self-representation in the digital realm, where curated identities intersect with real world experience.
Together, these spaces show that identity is not fixed but a constantly shifting mosaic shaped by personal and collective experience.
